Wyckoff For over fifteen years Gene and Dorothy Wyckoff lived just over the line on Lake Lanier. Although both were active in local affairs and Dorothy taught in the Tryon elementary school for ten years, Gene's business travel made it difficult for him to become fully involved in the Tryon community. However, as the headline suggests, things have changed. The Wyckoffs now live on Mimosa Lane in the former home of the late Walker B. Davis. And, hand-in-hand with the move to Polk County is Gene’s affiliation with the investment firm of Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Company, Incorporated. Gene will work from his new home and Smith Barney’s Spartanburg office to serve the investment and (Continued On Back Page) Buy Condominium Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson of Tryon have bought an Oak Hall Condominium from Oak Hall, Inc.
